Regenerative thermal oxidizers are systems designed to deal with chemical waste and organic through a process of controlled oxidation based on the capacity of energy recovery through a ceramic mass. They are installed where the concentration of pollutants is reduced and there is no need of heat recovery.

From engineering and system design to site assistance and supervision, on-line remote assistance, revamping and training, Fives designs and supplies regenerative thermal oxidizers to meet any technical requirements or project specifications, and help customers exceed their objectives in terms of polluting emission. Thanks to ITAS technology, fuel consumption is reduced by 20 to 25% as the energy contained in the solvents is used to operate the plant. 

Optimized and easy to operate thanks to a regulation system based on flow and temperature in the combustion chamber, ITAS regenerative thermal oxidizers minimize burner’s operation and optimizes the production of combustion gases, reducing emission.

ITAS regenerative oxidizing technology includes process valves with both mechanical and pneumatic sealing.
