Fives Pillard now uses Solidworks instead of Creo as integrated CAD software

In order to meet the growing demands of their clients and the greater complexity of their projects, Fives Pillard's engineering dpt. has installed Solidworks CAD software (in place of "Creo") to produce their drawings using 3D software.

The 3D design allows the equipment layout to be visualised in its environment and for any obstructions to be detected in advance. The choice of Solidworks has the advantage of being used by other subsidiaries in the Fives group, which allows improved synergy on joint projects.

At present, the engineering office has acquired 16 licenses for 22 workstations.
